Johnnie Walker Blue Label launched

KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Diageo PLC, along with its official distributor Global Trading Concern, on Thuesday launched 210 limited edition one liter bottles of Johnnie Walker Blue Label in the Nepali market.


In a first for a global and iconic brand such as Johnnie Walker, Diageo has customized the design especially for Nepal and the Nepali consumer, the company said in a press release.

The design of the limited edition Johnnie Walker Blue Label has been inspired by Mt Everest -- the most recognizable symbol of Nepal. "Just like Mt Everest, which reflects the pinnacle of human achievement and endurance, Johnnie Walker Blue Label represents the very finest in the art of whisky making," it added.


Together, the limited edition design celebrates those who have reached the summit of life. "It depicts the majestic visage of Mt Everest in a rich gold ink that looks truly stunning," the release added. This limited edition bottle design is available in selected retail outlets at a suggested price of Rs 28,515.
