Jhapa school authorities, parents worry as many students fell unconscious

JHAPA, June 21: Worries have found their way to a secondary school at Surunga in Kankai Municipality in Jhapa as many students lapsed into unconsciousness.

So far 14 students fell unconscious, said principle of the Marigold English Secondary School Gokul Upreti.

He added that seven students of grades seven fell unconscious at the same time all on Monday alone.

The ailing students were rushed to Marigold Hospital in the locality, he informed. He said that the doctors involved in their treatment said that they were yet to find causes about the incidents, thus further worrying parents and school authorities alike.

As a result, they closed the school for two days earlier, he said. RSS
