Jewelleries looted

PALPA, Dec 4: An unidentified group has looted valuables and other goods from a house at Rupse Deurali in Mathagadhi rural municipality in the district last night. 

The robbery took place at the house of Suresh Nepali. Three youths wielding khukuri knives looted gold earrings, necklace, rings and other ornaments from the house, according to Kalpana Nepali, Suresh's spouse.

The looters broke into the house in the evening and put cloth in my mouth and tied me up brandishing khukuri before decamping with five tolas gold ornaments and cash as well as other goods, she said. Suresh was not in his house at that time. He along with eight other youths of the village had gone to another village for a volleyball match.

A police team has visited the incident site and collected evidence, the District Police Office stated.(RSS)
