PALPA, Aug 12: A nine-month–child died and five others were injured after being hit by a jeep hereon Sunday.

The jeep (Ga 1 Cha 6748) hit pedestrians at Badigyan of Tansen, killing the child, Nishan Khadka of Bagnaskali rural municipality-3, according to the District Police Office.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the United Mission Hospital. The accident happened due to a brake-failure and it caused damages to five motorcycles as well.
Police have arrested driver Kamal Khatri of Rainadevi Chhara-4 for further investigation. RSS
