Alok Yonzon, one of the four owners of the place, says, “There´s a reason behind how we came up with the name Jardin. According to bastu sastra, we had to choose a name starting with ´J´ and since Jardin in French means garden, the name was apt for our new place”. Like the name suggests, the restaurant is surrounded by a lush green garden that gives the visitors a sense of tranquility and peace as soon as they enter the place.
He further says, “Since we have been in the restaurant business from a long time, we were just looking for the right place to start our new venture. Yonzon further added, “Since there are so many restaurants mushrooming, we have come up with a different approach and our focus is basically delivering quality food. We provide Japanese-influenced contemporary continental food. Since our chefs have an experience of working abroad, our service has that south-east influence.” The place also delivers an outstanding customer service and does not compromise with its exquisite food.
