There are altogether four courses in the meal, served both for lunch and dinner. One of the appetizers is ‘ingen goma-ae’, a simple spinach dish that is an earnest attempt to please the criticizers of vegetarian food. Similarly, the main meal, ‘nigri sushi’, an assortment of sushi eel, salmon and tuna, is a paradise for sushi lovers. [break]
Along with the misho soup served during the meal, the dessert, Green Tea Ice-Cream, seems to elude the conventionalism of ice cream flavors in Nepal. With the taste of Japanese green tea rightly blended into the creamy texture of ice-cream, one should definitely not skip this.
The total cost of the four-course meal served along with a chilled can of Asahi beer or a soft drink is Rs. 2000. This festival is scheduled to end on July 22.
