According to a press statement issued by the embassy of Japan in Kathmandu, the project aims to enhance therapeutic services for abandoned women with mental health and psychosocial disabilities by constructing a mental health therapeutic center to provide them treatment in a safe environment.

At the online grant signing ceremony, Yoshioka said that he is hopeful that the assistance will contribute toward enhancing better therapeutic services for women suffering from mental health issues. The project is expected to enable women with mental health issues to live independently and with dignity after receiving improved therapeutic services.
