Interview with Vineet Gupta

What is the purpose of launching Jamboree institute in Nepal?

In the past, we had lots of Nepali students coming to India to study GRE and GMAT. After finding out that there is a huge demand for the preparation course of these tests in Nepal, we thought it would be a wise idea to open our institute here.

How do you think Jamboree will stand out amongst all other educational institutions?

We have 18 years of experience in this field and have developed techniques and study materials according to the need of this course. So, our credibility on teaching technique and research on this field will help us differentiate ourselves from the competitive institutions in Nepal.

What is the fee structure of the courses? Are there any discounts for students coming from less privileged economical background?

Though our fee structure is higher in India, we have ensured minimum price for the Nepalis students. Our GRE, GMAT and SAT course costs Rs 16,000, 18,000 and 13,000 respectively.

As we are just starting, we do not have discount provision for now. But we ensure that in the upcoming future, we will have discount scheme for the less privileged students.

What is the composition of the teaching staff?

In Jamboree, we provide extensive training to the teachers and thereafter only, the faculty member for a particular center is recruited. So we have different nationalities in our teaching faculty. For Nepal, our verbal trainer is Indian and math trainer is Nepali.

What are other attractions of your institution?

We are a one stop shop. Somebody who is keen to study abroad can start coaching with us. We then guide them about colleges and documentation and visa processes. Thus, we are very resourceful for students who are unaware about foreign application process.

What advice would you give to Nepali students who’re pursuing these exams?

It is very essential for students to have a proper guidance for their exams. Therefore, I would suggest Nepali students to opt for an institution that guides them correctly.
