The company claims this novel initiative will gradually put an end to the country´s dependence on imported steel.
During the workshop, speakers also said architectural structures made of steel are sturdier than those made of cement.
This material is used widely throughout the world to build high-rise buildings, and hydropower and other large projects.
Pepsi launches new scheme
KATHMANDU, June 14: Pepsi has launched this year´s marketing campaign with a theme called “Make Your Dream Team.”
“The objective of this campaign is to build and strengthen on the international imagery and appeal, and take it to greater heights of excitement with strong consumer participation,” states a press release issued by the company on Sunday.
This year´s Pepsi campaign engages its customers to make their ´Dream Team´ -- collecting the crowns featuring the top notch international footballers like Thierry Henry, Cesc Fabregas, Kaka, Lionel Messi, Fernando Torres and Frank Lampard.
Consumers will have to collect the crowns featuring four of these football stars and win exciting prizes, states the release. Winners -- who will be selected through a lucky draw at every weekend -- will get a chance to go to Bangkok and Pattaya.
There are other exciting prizes like i-pod, Reebok footballs and T- shirts as well.
