ITF team leaving for World C'ship Saturday

KATHMANDU, Aug 21: A five-member ITF Taekwondo Team, including three players, is leaving for Bulgaria to compete in World Championship to be held there from August 24 to 30.

Rup Singh Moktan will compete in men's 50 kg category, Gham Bahadur Thapa in 60 kg and Tham Bahadur Dahik in 70 kg category. Anjan Dhamala is the coach of the team and Anju Nath Shrestha, the president of Nepal ITF will accompany the team.

Shrestha will also conduct the role of referee. Meanwhile, coach Dhamala will also be felicitated with ITF order medal in recognition of his contribution of the team. ITF headquarters awards people from various countries in two years each for their contribution to the game.
