Israel announces 800 high-paying caregiver jobs for Nepali applicants

KATHMANDU, June 16: Israel has announced the opening of 800 caregiver positions, each offering a monthly salary exceeding Rs 200,000. The Department of Foreign Employment has begun accepting applications for these lucrative jobs, which can be applied for online within 21 days from the notice date.


Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria to qualify for these positions. Candidates should be between 25 and 45 years old, with a minimum height of 1.5 meters and a weight of at least 45 kg. Additionally, they must have passed the Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) and completed a 15-month Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery (ANM) course or a Community Medicine Assistant (CMA) course. Alternatively, candidates can qualify if they have completed the Plus 2 level of education or its equivalent and have undergone three months of training in the caregiver field.

Other prerequisites include not having previously worked in Israel or having any family members currently employed there. Candidates must also be physically and mentally fit to undertake the responsibilities of the caregiver role.


Out of the 800 positions, 500 will be allocated to primary candidates, while 300 will serve as alternates. The job openings are designed to encourage gender diversity, with 60 percent of the positions reserved for female applicants and 40 percent for male applicants.


The monthly salary for these positions is set at 5,880 Shekels, which is approximately Rs 210,000. The job contract will extend for a period of five years, offering a stable and well-compensated opportunity for qualified Nepali applicants.
