KATHMANDU, Nov 12: Ipsha Aryal of Nepal emerged as the winner of the Rhythm Revolution Dance Competition (RRDC) 2024 which concluded on October 23. According to the organizers, the virtual event featured three exceptional dancers, including one from Norway and two from Nepal, in the finale.
Founded by 18-year-old entrepreneur Samidha Singh Basnyat, RRDC serves as an international platform for dancers while promoting environmental sustainability. With a global team of RRDC representing Turkey, India, Singapore, England, and Peru, the competition fostered a diverse, borderless community united by dance, the organisers said in a statement.

Renowned figures like salsa competitor Sude İşeri and hip-hop promoter Gyan Kumari Sunuwar were the judges of the event. The organisers said 30 percent of the registration fees were channeled to the Sundar Foundation for its sustainable waste management initiatives, underscoring the competition’s commitment to both artistic excellence and environmental impact.
