At a press meet organized by Rupandehi chapter of Nepal Press Union at Bhairahawa airport on Sunday, NC President Deuba said, 'The government has been making interference in all places. It has also been interfering on press freedom, independent judiciary and human rights commission.

This move would not be accepted at any cost." Protesting the government's move, he said that the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) should carry out an investigation on various issues including wide-body and Baluwatar land. The NC President argued that the budget brought by the government has been arbitrarily distributed to its cadres.
