International football player Drogba to visit Nepal

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Famous football player Didier Drogba is arriving in Nepal to support the Nepal Super League (NSL) which is going to start today.

KATHMANDU, Nov 24: Famous football player Didier Drogba is arriving in Nepal to support the Nepal Super League (NSL) which is going to start today.


Sudip Sharma, a member of the Nepal Super League management team, said that Drogba, who earned his name from Chelsea, will come to Nepal by the first week of December.

He said that Drogba is coming to Nepal to encourage Nepali players and support the league. He said, 'Drogba is sure to come to Nepal. However, he will arrive in Nepal only by the first week of December.”


His supporters are excited by the news of Drogba's upcoming visit to Nepal.


Earlier on November 9, Nepal Super League issued a statement saying, “Nepal Super League would like to announce that football legend, Didier Drogba is ready to grace Nepal with his presence for the upcoming season of Nepal Super League.”


Before becoming a part of the NSL, Drogba has already announced to contribute Rs 2 million to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund through the Didier Drogba Foundation in partnership with the Nepal Super League.
