MORANG, Feb 13: Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law of Province 1 has officially begun its work on Monday.
The ministry is taken as powerful and under it, the Ministries of Information and Communications and Local Administration will function. Secretary of the provincial internal affair ministry Yagya Bahadur Khatri said the ministry will look after affairs of maintaining peace and security and lawmaking, conflict management and managing provincial police.

Three divisions will remain under the ministry (Administration plan and disaster management, security coordination and lawmaking).
The province will have the Offices of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers, and the Ministries of Internal Affairs and Law, Finance and Planning, Physical Infrastructure Development, Social Development, Industry, Tourism, Forest, Environment and Land Management and Agriculture Cooperatives.
