Robin Tamang is a founder of Nepali rock band, Robin and the New Revolution. The band has released four albums including ‘Keta Keti’, ’13,000’, ‘Hamro Desh’ and earlier on July 24, ‘Muglan’. Aside from music career, Tamang is also an actor.

What is music for you?
It’s my life.

What do you want to do with your vocals?
I don’t have to do anything. I am happy.
If you could be any musician for a day, who would it be?
Jimi Hendrix.
What do you do when you are alone at home?
I try to write songs as much as possible. I am always with my guitar when I’m home.
What’s your favorite jam?
No particular songs but always rock and roll.
If you could hang out with any musicians, who would they be? Why?
Bob Dylan. I have always loved his songs.
Any songs you wish you had written?
Unfortunately, there aren’t any. I love what I write.
Which international band do you want to be a part of?
I don’t have any. However, I’d love to see Nepali bands become international.
Dream concert to attend?
I’d love to see Woodstock 1969 again.
Dream venue to play?
Wembley Stadium.
What do you enjoy most about being a musician?
I do enjoy the company of other musicians. We have a different outlook on life.
