What is music for you?

I haven’t thought any specific name/phrase to define but I know how it feels. It’s everything to me and I cannot imagine my life without it.

What do you want to do with your vocals?

Every time I sing or scream my heart out, I just want to let all the people know that they can sing louder in a powerful way.

If you could be any musician for a day, who would it be? Why?

I want to be Larnell Lewis. His drum skills are just out of this world.

What do you do when you are alone at home?

I try to write some songs and sing whatever I want. And if I’m out of song ideas, I watching movies and videos on YouTube.

What’s your favorite jam?

‘Burden Down’ by Jennifer Hudson

If you could hang out with any musician, who would it be? Why?

Myles Kennedy. He is my all-time favorite singer.

Which is your favorite Nepali singer/band? Why?

Albatross. Their songs are lyrically and musically great.

Any national artist you want to collaborate with?

Once again, Albatross.

How do you feel being compared with Freddie Mercury?

There’s only one Freddie Mercury and nobody deserves to be in his place. As for me, I don’t like when people compare me with him. I just want everyone to let me be myself and support my original style.

What do you enjoy most about being a musician?

As being a musician is already the best thing that has ever happened to me, I enjoy every moment which has music in it. Also, I love when I go to different places and meet different people.

A lesson you learned as a musician?

Everyone struggles, gets frustrated and depressed. But if you continue to walk on the same track with passion and optimism, then you’ll get to the top one day.

What do you want to change about the industry?

I want my fellow musician/artists to work on some international stuff. If most of us go for it, maybe at least some will make it. It doesn’t have to be me but somebody should be there to start it and motivate others.

Any messages you’d give to the people who want to rock?

Just do whatever you want. Put more in if you want more out. Train, develop, and release. Sing your heart out.
