Injured tempo driver dies

BIRATNAGAR, June 8: A large number of passengers are stranded after tempos stayed off the roads over the death of a tempo driver in Biratnagar on Tuesday.



Tempo driver Santosh Kumar Shah who sustained injuries in an explosion caused by collision between his tempo and Maruti van on Monday at Airport Mod, Tankisinuwari of Biratnagr died while undergoing treatment at BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences on Wednesday.[break]



Morang Superintendent of Police Dipak Thapa said that Shah had sustained burn injuries throughout his body after he was caught by fire in explosion.



Tempo drivers have been demanding a stern action against the culprit.
