Infographics: Nepali premiers

Since 1990 AD to 2008AD (during Constitutional Monarchy), Nepal has seen sixteen different Governments where seven people have been appointed prime minister. After the establishment of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal in 2008 AD Seven Government were formed.

In time frame of 1990 AD to 2014 AD, Nepal saw 22 different Governments and had only one primeminister below age of 50 years.

During that time, Nepali Congress led the government for more than 58% (which if converted in years comes to 14.46 years) out of 22 Governments, Nepali Congress held premiership for 11 times.

Communist parties (UML, Maoist) in Nepal led the Government for 1353days (which accounts to 3.71 years).

Lt. Girija Prasad Koirala was PM for 3033 days which if calculated in years accounts to 8.31 years.
