InFocus projectors in market

KATHMANDU, July 25: Human Click - a store that deals on laptops, computer appliances and sound systems - has introduced six models of InFocus projectors in the Nepali market.



The company has introduced InFocus IN112, IN114, IN116, IN124, IN1110 and IN2126 in the market. InFocus projectors are manufactured by US-based InFocus Corporation.[break]



Aditya Lakhey, product manager of Human Click, said the company introduced InFocus projectors in Nepal as the demand is increasing because of the growing use of projectors in schools, colleges and corporate houses. He also said InFocus projectors have lamp life of 6,000 hours, whereas projectors of other brands available in Nepal have lamp life of 5,000 hours only.







The InFocus IN112 is a video graphics array (VGA) projector with 800X600 resolution. It supports 3D technology and has color brightness of 2,700 lumens. The compact projector that weighs just 2.17 kg has a contrast ratio of 4000:1. It is priced at Rs 39,000.



Similarly, the InFocus IN114 has Extended Graphics Array (XGA) with 1024x768 resolution. It is available for Rs 51,900.



The other model IN116 has high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) input that makes it compatible with today´s tablets, mobile phones and notebooks, according to Lakhe. It has Wide Extended Graphics Array (WXGA) with 1280x800 resolution. The device costs Rs 61,900.



InFocus IN124 is a XGA projector with 1024x768 resolution. The device, which has been priced at Rs 62,900, has brightness of 3,200 lumens. The other model -- IN1110 -- has HDMI input to connect with iPads, iPhones, Android phones and tablets and PCs too. It is a XGA projector with 1024X768 resolution. It is priced at Rs 75,900.



Likewise, InFocus IN2126 is a WXGA projector with 1280x800 resolution. The device, which also has network connectivity, is available in the market at Rs 96,900.



“We´ve introduced both budget and high-end projectors. Budget projects have been targeted at small firms, colleges and schools, while high-end projectors are for stadium, cinema halls and big venues,” said Lakhe.



Human Click provides three years warranty on projectors for personal and home use and five years warrant for schools, colleges and corporate houses.

“We target to grab 40 percent of Nepal´s projector market within six months of the launch of InFocus projectors,” Lakhe added.
