GALKAOT, Nov 25: Thirty houses were completed gutted in a fire that broke out early this morning in Nawi village of Dhorpatan municipality-1.
The fire that began at around 2:00 am was brought under control six hours later at 8:00 am, according to local resident Indra Shahi, employees from the Dhorpatan hunting reserve and the Nepali army Hanumandwaj battalion worked together to put out the fire.

No human casualty was reported as the residents had vacated their home due to the increasing cold and shifted to the lower belt of Bobang and other places. As a result of the effort of the army personnel and reserve officials, the fire was stopped from spreading to the forest.
The damaged caused by the fire will be known only after the house owners arrived.
