Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepalese Army, and local residents are actively involved in extinguishing the fire.

DSP Jaiswal said that despite these efforts, the fire has not yet been fully controlled due to strong winds fueling its spread. The police suspected that the blaze may have intensified due to combustible straw catching fire.
