Dev Das, 20, of Birtamod Municipality-2 killed his son Suraj Das after he strangulated the baby covering with a quilt under the influence of alcohol on Sunday night.
The baby died while undergoing treatment at Birtamod-based B&C Hospital, said Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Area Police Office, Birtamod, Khadga Bahadur Khatri.
Police have arrested Das for his connection into the incident. RSS
