Indian workers poison food for not getting remunaration

SANKHUWASABHA, April 1: Three Indian workers fell ill after eating food poisoned by their own friends in Bahrabise Bazaar of the district.

They fell a prey to their own trap plotted by their friends to kill their contractor for not clearing their payment on time.


The victims are Mohammad Kurman, 18, Mohammad Lalbin and Mohammad Anur, 25, District Police Office told Republica Online.

All the three are Indian nationals from Arariya District of the Indian State of Bihar. The injured have been referred to Dharan after a preliminary treatment at the district hospital.

Food had been poisoned by Mohammad Ihiya of Bihar, Arariya and 16-year-old Mohammad Sahajid of Sunsari, Ghuski-9.

Police are investing the case after taking them under control, said Inspector Mukti Sapkota.
