According to Home Ministry spokesperson Jaya Mukunda Khanal, Home Secretary Dr Gobinda Kusum will lead Nepali delegation in the talks. Khanal said the two-day (Nov 6-7) talks will mainly focus on curbing cross-border criminal activities.
While Nepal is likely to seek India´s cooperation in controlling criminal activities in the troubled Tarai region, the Indian side is expected to raise the issue of criminal and terrorist activities along the border as well as routing of fake Indian currency from Nepal.
