Indian scientists visiting Nepal

KATHMANDU, April 5: At the invitation of the Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Chairperson of Indian National Science Academy (INSA), Prof. Dr Krishna Lal and Vice-chairmen Prof. Dr N. Satyamurti and Prof. Dr. Alok Bhattacharya are arriving Nepal on a three-day visit on April 7.



During the visit, the Indian scientists are scheduled to give six lectures on physics, biology and science education.[break]



The lectures will be held at the NAST headquarters, Khumaltar, and the Tribhuvan University, Central Department, Kirtipur and at Amrit Science college, Lainchaur.



The visit is part of the science and technology exchange and research taking place since the bilateral agreement reached between NAST and INSA in 1989.
