JANAKPUR, Nov 4: Indian President Pranab Mukherjee who is on a three-day state visit to Nepal has arrived at the historic city of Janakpur Friday afternoon.
Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Bimalendra Nidhi and Dhanusha's Chief District Officer received the Indian President upon his arrival at the Janakpur airport.
Indian President Mukherjee flew to Janakpur on an aircraft of Buddha Air and also took the occasion to view the mesmerizing Himalayan range at the northern rim of Nepal.
The visiting Indian President will offer prayers at the Janaki temple and attend a civic reception by the Janakpur residents following which he will travel to Pokhara.
