India visit inappropriate unless blockade ends, says Oli

KATHMANDU, Jan 26:  Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday claimed that India will soon lift the blockade unofficially.

“It’s unofficial trade embargo and will end informally,” he said while talking to journalists at his official residence in Baluwatar.

Indicating to the blockade by the southern neighbor, PM Oli remarked that it would be unfitting to commence on visit unless situation normalizes.      

On a separate note, PM Oli said that government is keeping a close eye on separatist movements in Tarai.
