BIRGUNJ, Aug 31: District Administration Office, Parsa has issued indefinite curfew order in Birgunj on Monday. Police Inspector Dibesh Lohani informed curfew has been clamped from 4 pm after situation remained tense.
Earlier, police lobbed teargas shells and rubber bullets after protesters tried to vandalize a police post in Birgunj.
A person has sustained hand and head injuries in the police firing. The injured is Krishna Patel of Nagawa-10 who is now undergoing treatment at Narayani Sub Regional Hospital.

Likewise Jitendra Patel of Parsa, Rajman Singh, Ranjit Yadav, Mohammad Sarkhuddhin Miya and Parmeshwar Sah were injured in the clash.
Police had clashed with the protestors while the former were escorting container vans from Birgunj Custom Office last night.
Following the clash, the irate cadres had attacked the police post based in Nagawa in retaliation today.
Police had lobbed 10 rounds of rubber bullets and the same number of teargas shells, Zonal Police Chief Manoj Neupane told Republica.
