IN PICS: Pokhara Airport welcomes first passenger flight after a hiatus of six months

POKHARA, Sept 21: After a hiatus of six months due to the lockdown enforced by the government to curb the spread of COVID-19, Pokhara Airport received its first flight on Monday morning.
The government of Nepal decided to allow domestic airlines to resume their services from Monday.
An aircraft belonging to Buddha Air that took off from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu, landed at Pokhara Airport at around 8:30AM today.
The airport officials looked busy dealing with passengers arriving at and departing from Pokhara.
The airport has maintained strict health safety protocols amid the resumption of flights.
