KATHMANDU, Mar 2: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) deployed metropolitan police on Tuesday afternoon to clean the recently-reconstructed Rani Pokhari.

In recent days, there has been growth of algae in Rani Pokhari.

While the newly-reconstructed Rani Pokhari was adding to the beauty of the capital city, the growth of algae in the pond was deteriorating its beauty.
