POKHARA, Oct 29: Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) party Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the impeachment against Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher JB Rana is just a rumor.
Speaking at a press meet organized by the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Gandaki Province Chapter, in Pokhara on Friday, Chairman Nepal, who is also a former prime minister, said that there was no discussion among coalition partners to introduce impeachment motion against Chief Justice Rana. "The impeachment of Chief Justice Rana is just a rumor. No one has even proposed this. There has been no discussion among political parties. It is not necessary to run after rumors,” he said.
