Impact of Dahal-Nepal faction’s shutdown in Pokhara (with photos)

POKHARA, Feb 4: The nationwide general strike announced by the Dahal-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party reported a significant impact in Pokhara, the provincial capital of Gandaki Province.

Different pictures were seen in the city, located in the western part of the country, on Thursday. Some cadres of the agitating faction were seen enforcing the shutdown while some others were requesting the bike riders to help them enforce the agitation. The vehicles discharging essential services were, however, allowed to operate hassle-freely.
