IME opens branch at Fukuoka in Japan

KATHMANDU, July 7: IME Kyodai Remittance has opened its branch office in Hakata-Ku, Fukuoka in Japan.

Issuing a statement, the remittance company said that it established the branch office in Hakata-Ku for the convenience of Nepali students to transfer funds to Nepal.

Speaking at the ceremony, Suman Pokhrel, CEO of IME, said that the IME has become a reputed and trusted brand in the country and abroad.

The company has also announced to provide meeting hall for Nepali organizations to organize special events in the city, according to the statement.

"IME has been providing remittance service through its 155 centers and 6,100 sub-agents in the country," according to the statement.
