PALPA, May 13: An improvised explosive device (IED) has been detonated at Srinagardanda of Tansen Municipality-5 in Palpa today morning.

Investigations were on, said the police. Meanwhile, a banda (strike) called by Netra Bikram Chand-led Communist Party of Nepal affected life in the district.
