JULMA, Sept 4: The identities of individuals who were killed in a jeep accident in Kanaka Sundari-4 Chhakunera, Jumla have been ascertained.

The ill-fated jeep traveling from Jumla to Mugu met with an accident on Sunday morning.

Police Inspector Umesh Chand informed Republica that the deceased was identified after the owner of the jeep reached the spot. According to him, Abiraj Karki, 28 of Rara Chhayanath Rara Municipality-5 of Mugu and Jitendra Rawal, 22 of the same ward died in a jeep accident. Karki was the driver and Rawal was the co-driver.

Police Inspector Chand said that the body of the deceased was taken to Mugu District Hospital for post-mortem. According to police, the jeep with the registration number Bhe 1 Ja 1099 fell 300 meters off the road. Police Inspector Chand said that further investigation about the accident is currently underway.
