KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Nepal defeated Bahrain by 10 wickets in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Asia region qualifiers and registered their second consecutive victory in the tournament.
In today's match in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Bahrain gave Nepal a modest target of 32 runs for victory. In reply, Nepal completed the target without losing any wicket in 2.5 overs.

Kabita Kunwar contributed 17 unbeaten runs for Nepal. She scored 17 runs with the help of three fours while facing 14 balls. Similarly, Sita Rana Magar added two runs.
Before that, Bahrain, who won the toss and batted first, lost all their wickets in 15.4 overs and were reduced to 31 runs.
For Bahrain, Captain Deepika Rasangika contributed the most 11 runs. Apart from that, other players of Bahrain could not touch double-digit figures.
Nepal's Indu Verma took three wickets while Khushi Dangol took two wickets against Bahrain. Kabita Kunwar, Puja Mahato and Rubina Chhetri took one wicket each. Earlier, in the first match yesterday, Nepal defeated Malaysia by five runs. Nepal will play its third match against Bhutan on Sunday.
