KATHMANDU, Jan 26: In the latest update from the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, Afghanistan find themselves at 2/2 after 2 overs against Nepal. The tension is palpable in the crucial match at Buffalo Park, East London, South Africa.

Hassan Eisakhil remains on the crease at 0 runs, while Jamshid Zadran has managed to add 2 runs to the scoreboard. The Afghanistan Under-19 squad, led by Eisakhil and Zadran, is facing a formidable challenge from Nepal's young talents.

It is a crucial match as the winner of today’s clash will secure a coveted place in the next round.

The three teams advancing from each of the four groups will enter a fresh Super Six stage starting on January 30.

In this stage, two groups of six teams will compete to determine the Semi-Finalists and subsequently, the Finalists.

Meanwhile, the bottom-placed teams will engage in placement games to ascertain finishing positions ranging from 13 to 16.
