ICC CWC League 2: The Netherlands-Namibia face off

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: The Netherlands and Namibia are facing each other in a crucial  ICC CWC League 2 fixture today.

The match that commenced at 9:30 AM is currently underway at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

Namibia currently leads the points table in the tri-nations ODI series. After facing a setback against the Netherlands in the opening match, the team rallied back to secure victories against Nepal in two consecutive games.

Meanwhile, the Netherlands, after a recent defeat to Nepal, bounced back with a convincing win over Namibia in their previous encounter.

Nepal is slated to take on the Netherlands in the final match of the series on Sunday.

With eight teams vying for top honors in the League 2 games, only four will secure a coveted spot in the global qualifier for the ICC Men’s World Cup.
