ICC approves third edition of EPL

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: The franchise T20 cricket event Everest Premier League (EPL) has been approved by International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 7: The franchise T20 cricket event Everest Premier League (EPL) has been approved by International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday. 


The third edition of the mega cricket event is set to run from March 14-28 at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The last edition of EPL was held from December 8-22 in 2018. 


International cricket stars like West Indians Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith were announced to represent Pokhara Rhinos and Bhiarahawa Gladiators respectively in the upcoming season of T20 extravaganza. 


Likewise, Sri Lankan great Upul Tharanga was signed by defending champion Lalitpur Patriots.
