‘I will promote my country for an entire lifetime'

BHAKTAPUR, Dec 17: Miss Nepal 2018, Shrinkhala Khatiwada, said she will commit to promote Nepal across the globe all throughout her life. Shrinkhala clinched two awards:  ‘Multimedia Challenge Award’ and ‘Beauty With A Purpose Challenge Award’ and reached the top 12 in Miss World 2018. She admitted that she tried to introduce her country rather than promote herself at the beauty pageant.

BHAKTAPUR, Dec 17: Miss Nepal 2018, Shrinkhala Khatiwada, said she will commit to promot Nepal across the globe all throughout her life. Shrinkhala clinched two awards:  ‘Multimedia Challenge Award’ and ‘Beauty With A Purpose Challenge Award’ and reached the top 12 in Miss World 2018. She admitted that she tried to introduce her country rather than promote herself at the beauty pageant. 


“I will be a representative of Nepal and promote my country across the world,” she addressed amidst a felicitation program hosted in Bhaktapur on Sunday.  ‘Many people had recognized me as a Nepali rather than Shrinkhala in the recent Miss World held in China,’ Shrinkhala added.

Shrinkhala is also the first architect to win the ‘Miss Nepal’ title. She graduated in Architecture from Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University. Shrinkhala said she will also involve in architecture projects in future.   “The construction of health post targeting Chepang community is now at the final phase.  I expected help from people in my coming project,” she said. 


Shrinkhala, the Brand Ambassador of Gorkha Eco Panels  was felicitated by the company at their  head office in Madhyapur Thimi, Bhaktapur.
