Dahal also claimed that the tenure of his second prime ministership was something to be proud of while his first innings as the country’s prime minister passed so quickly that he was confused whether it was a dream or reality.

“My first tenure as Prime Minister passed in a confusion whether it was a dream or reality. However, I had really tried to improve a lot in the country, when I was Prime Minister for the second time. I dreamed of giving stability, development and social justice by uniting the leftists, but that was not successful. I don't have much to say about that now,” Chairman Dahal said. “And you said it. I take  what you have said as your blessings, if I have the opportunity to lead the country next time, I would take the country to a new era by removing all these distortions that have appeared in the country as thousands of Nepalis have been sacrificed under my leadership.”

Similarly, Chairman Dahal said that the tourism sector was the only reliable means of resolving the economic crisis in the country. He also expressed his commitment to take initiatives with the government to solve the problems seen in the tourism sector.
