Hyundai unveils New Kona in Nepal

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Hyundai Automobiles in Nepal, has launched facelift Hyundai Kona in the Nepali automobile market.

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd, the authorized distributor of Hyundai Automobiles in Nepal, has launched facelift Hyundai Kona in the Nepali automobile market.


According to a statement issued by the company, the new Kona electric has several exciting upgrades both in interiors and the exterior. With cutting-edge design, driven by pure electric powertrain, it provides a longer driving range as well as many advanced connectivity and safety features.

Similarly, a 39.2kWh lithium-ion polymer battery featuring multi-stage high-voltage safety systems delivers high energy density for the improved driving range. With its 8" Touchscreen Audio Visual Navigation System, Kona Electric is said to provide a superior spatial experience to further enrich people’s traveling experience.


Likewise, Laxmi Intercontinental Pvt Ltd has decided to expand its charging stations spread across the country. There are currently 36 charging stations spread across Nepal. The company aims to expand the number to 50 throughout major cities and highways in the country by the end of 2021, according to the statement.
