KATHMANDU, Feb 26: The Nepal Chapter of Hustle for Humanity, a global movement standing up to injustice and for human rights, has been launched.

As the organization said, it would partner up with organizations working in the support of communities fighting for justice and rights.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR-1948) is its guiding principle. In addition to this, its areas of working include children deprived of basic facilities such as health and education and youth's education, health and human rights issues.

The launching of Nepal's chapter was announced amidst a press meet in Kathmandu.

The organization is headquartered in the United States of America.

To ensure and promote the child rights through advocacy, activism, and garnering of required assistance towards that end is one of the objectives of the organization with its goal to create a better world, according to Nepal chapter chair Binod Sharma.

A 17-member committee headed by Sharma has been formed to run the Nepal chapter, according to organization member Rishi Gautam.

Its programs will be implemented in cooperation and partnership with Nepal-based human rights organizations and local governments.
