JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 16: In Dhanusha, a man died on the spot in an accident while his injured wife also succumbed to the injuries later. Radhe Sahani and his wife Asmita Sharma met with an accident in Kshireshwarnath Municipality-3 on Sunday. Radhe died on the spot, while 22-year-old Asmita, who was critically injured, died on Sunday night at Janakpur Provincial Hospital.
Asmita, who had sustained injuries in the accident, was undergoing treatment at Janakpur Provincial Hospital. Dhanusha police spokesperson DSP Ranjan Awa mentioned that she passed away during the night.
Three killed in Dhanusha road mishap
Radhe Sahani, a resident of Mahadaiya in Loharpatti Municipality-3 of Mahottari, and his wife Asmita died in the accident on Sunday evening while on a trip. Following the accident, Radhe's friends transported Asmita to her maternal home. In an unconscious state, Asmita was then taken to the hospital by her mother.
Although the accident occurred on Saturday, Radhe was discovered dead in a wheat field located in Kshireshwarnath Municipality-3, Pakdia, only on Sunday morning. Radhe, from Loharpatti, and Asmita, from Pakdiya of Kshireshwarnath Municipality, had been married for four months. After their marriage, they were residing in Mahendranagar of Kshireshwarnath Municipality in a rented room.
On Sunday, Radhe had left his in-laws' home with his friends from Pakdiya for Mahendranagar, accompanied by his wife Asmita. Dhanusha Police Spokesperson Awa mentioned that the police have detained three of Radhe's friends.
