POKHARA, Nov 5: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Prithvi Subba Gurung has said that the province was facing hardship to implement the budget due to lack of adequate infrastructure and human resource.
Speaking in an orientation programme organized for the provincial lawmakers on access to justice here today, CM Gurung added that the budget implementation process was delayed due to some technical aspects to be facilitated by the federal government. He opined for establishing tourism promotion centre as the government has allocated Rs 50 million for promoting tourism in the province.
He shared that the province assembly was drafting laws and regulation required for the budget implementation and smooth operation of the government.
Speaking in the programme, former chairman of the Constituent Assembly Subas Nembang opined for facilitating the law drafting process as per the spirit of the constitution.
Similarly, speaker at the province assembly Netranath Adhikari shared that the orientation programme would be beneficial to the lawmakers for law drafting process. RSS
