Huawei P9 hits store shelves

KATHMANDU, July 25: Huawei has launched its much anticipated P9 smartphone in the domestic market.



Officials of Huawei said that the new phone has been launched focusing on three basic aspects namely craftsmanship, photography and technology.



The company also claimed that the phone ensures superior mobility and performance, superior connectivity, better processing power, enhanced fingerprint sensor, stunning design, and world-class metal finishing techniques, among others.



Sumit Pradhananga, marketing manager of Huawei Technologies Nepal, said that the flagship P9 would revolutionize camera using experience of users as the phone can capture images equivalent to the one captured by SLR cameras.   The phone boasts of 12 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel front facing camera.



Equipped with power, connectivity and speed that today's high-end smartphone user expects from Huawei, the P9 with a 5.2-inch 1080p display is powered by the new Kirin 955  chipset and ARM Cortex processor, according to the company.



“The P9 takes smartphone photography and industrial design to a new level, as Huawei sets new benchmarks in imaging and manufacturing excellence for a superior user experience and aesthetic,” Pradhananga added.



The P9 is available at Rs 60,000.
