Officials of Huawei and Call Mobility -- the distributor of the Chinese smartphone brand -- also launched Huawei P8 Lite and TalkBand B2 in the Nepali market.While P8 will cost Rs 59,999 in Nepal, while P8 Lite and TalkBand B2 will be retailed at Rs 28,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively, according to officials of Call Mobility.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Pulkit Bhimsaria, director of Call Mobility, said the launch of P8 will enhance Huawei's brand presence in Nepal. "We have always been trying to satisfy our customers with new and feature-incorporated phones along with best after-sale-services," he said.
Huawei has claimed that P8 is highly engineered and strikes a perfect balance between beauty, minimalist aesthetics and usability. The phone with 5.2-inch FHD screen is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core Kirin Processor with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It packs a 2,680 mAh battery with smart power management function. According to the company, the flagship phone comes with world's first 4-color 13 megapixel RGBW imaging camera along with F2.0 large aperture. It has 8 megapixel front camera.
Similarly, the TalkBand B2 mid-range wearable device features a premium design focusing on comfort and style. "The phone comes with a 6-axis motion sensor which allows to automatically identify what sort of exercise you are doing, giving you the essential data that you need to monitor and improve your fitness performance," the officials added.
Likewise, the P8 Lite is a light version of Huawei's flagship P8. The phone is powered by Kirin 1.2 Ghz Octa-core processor along with 2GB RAM. It has 16 GB internal memory, 5 megapixel front camera and 13 megapixel rear camera. It is powered by 2200 mAh battery.
Meanwhile, Huawei has also launched 7-inch MediaPad X2 tablet at Rs 49,999. The tablet comes with an LTPS HD Screen with resolution of 1200X1920 pixels. It sports 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera.
