Earlier on the day, Unified Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) registered a commitment proposal at the Parliament Secretariat, demanding parliament’s instruction to the government to correct President’s move to retain the army chief in office within hours since the cabinet sacked him.
Maoists’ deputy leader in parliament Narayan Kaji Shreshta, Chief Whip in the parliament Post Bahadur Bogati and lawmaker Khim Lal Devkota registered the motion at the secretariat as per the decision of party’s secretariat meeting held Wednesday morning.
