The audiovisual clip is with the committee after the Speaker handed it to the committee on Monday.
Committee President Dil Bahadur Gharti called the meeting for August 22 after some lawmakers demanded to play the audiovisual clip in today’s meeting itself.
The lawmakers also drew attention that the issue will lose its relevance if discussions on it were delayed. Constituent Assembly Chairman Subas Nembang sent the audiovisual clip to the State Affairs Committee for the study after Deputy Prime Minister Bamdev Gautam handed over the material to CA Chair Nembang in Monday's meeting of the Legislature Parliament.
The Committee has received the audio-visual clips of the statement by Chairman of the Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Upendra Yadav, Chairman of the Sadbhawana Party Rajendra Mahato and lawmaker of the Nepali Congress Amaresh Kumar Singh, it is learnt.
The Committee has called on the people to present themselves in a peaceful manner while expressing their dissatisfaction and putting forth their demands on the issue of delineation of federal province.
President Gharti also directed the government to make the security personnel exercise restraint in course of maintaining law and order in the country. The Committee made the decision in this regard after DPM Gautam informed the Committee about contemporary scenario.
Meanwhile, the term of sub-committee formed to submit a report after holding clause-wise discussion on the 'Bill on Social Conduct -2071 BS' has been extended till September 16. The term of the sub-committee is terminating today. RSS
